Today, Russia's Prosecutor General spoke at the session “Reducing Business Risks as a Foundation for National Economic Development”, which was organized on his instruction.
At the invitation of the head of the supervisory agency, the discussion was joined by U Soe Thein, Chairman of the Anti‑Corruption Commission of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar; Om Yentieng, President of the Anti‑Corruption Unit of the Kingdom of Cambodia; and Itthiporn Kaewthip, Attorney General of the Kingdom of Thailand. Active participants in the event also included Russian Minister of Industry and Trade Anton Alikhanov; Russian Minister for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic Aleksey Chekunkov; Deputy Head of the Russian Government Staff Sergey Velmyaykin; Head of the Federal Agency for Fisheries Ilya Shestakov; Deputy Minister of Construction, Housing and Utilities Nikita Stasishin; and President of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Sergey Katyrin.
The discussion focused on topical issues of legal regulation, infrastructure development for business, supervisory support for investment projects, the fight against contract arrears, and the functioning of territories with preferential regimes.
The session was once again moderated by journalist and television presenter Petr Marchenko.
